Our Sensory Feeding group is led by our Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) certified speech-language pathologist who integrates sensory, oral-motor, and a social modeling approach to improve a child's feeding skills. This may help increase the amount of tastes and textures a child eats, improve mealtime behaviors, and provide strategies to introduce new foods in a fun and safe way.
For many children, learning how to ride a bike is a significant achievement. It not only gives them a fun new mode of transportation but also helps them stay active and healthy.
Each 4-day session of this program involves our pediatric professionals guiding participants through activities that address certain skills and topics, such as balance and coordination, starting, stopping, and obstacle navigation, among others. Each Friday after the session is reserved as a make-up date should the weather force cancellation.
